ST116 Coarse Fiber tester tests
The ST116 crude fiber tester is an instrument that utilizes the commonly used acid-base digestion method to digest samples and conducts weight measurement to determine the crude fiber content of the test sample.
Using acids and alkalis with accurate concentrations, digest the sample under specific conditions, then remove soluble substances with ethanol, and after high-temperature ignition, deduct the amount of minerals. The remaining content is called crude fiber. It is not an exact chemical entity, but only an approximate composition measured under recognized mandatory conditions, mainly consisting of cellulose, with a small amount of hemicellulose and lignin.
It is suitable for determining the crude fiber content of various grains, feed, etc., and the test results comply with the provisions of national standards GB/T5515 and GB/T6434.
